- Static output
- The build writes plain HTML, CSS and images. No server runs your site at request time.
- Content collection
- A typed folder of Markdown validated against a schema at build time.
- Design token
- A named value — a colour, a size, a duration — defined once and referenced everywhere.
- Reduced motion
- An operating-system preference. When it is set, animation is replaced by its final state.
- Structured data
- Machine-readable JSON-LD describing what a page is, so search engines do not have to guess.
- Measure
- The width of a column of text, counted in characters. Comfortable reading sits between 45 and 75.
